*Spoilers!!!* I repeat: *Spoilers people, spoilers!*
Also feel like I should put this: I don’t intend to offend anyone with any opinions I might express! Keep that in mind!

Okay, so I literally just finished it and I’m still a little emotional. I just wanted to write a bit of a reaction, I suppose. I’m still sorting through everything going on in my head
(I apologize if some of what I say doesn’t make sense.)
First off, look how much of a hit my hg and hearts took after purchasing all of the episodes for this DLC along with all the episodes for V’s after ending:
Before:
After:
(Side note: if you let your hearts reach up to 34,700 hearts, you will have to sit there for about 5 minutes converting them to hourglasses 347 times  )

Okay, so onto the actual story!
(Just reminding everyone that these are my opinions and might differ from others. I don’t mean to offend anyone!)
First off, I understand that a person’s past does not justify them hurting people. I genuinely think Rika thought she was trying to help people but ended up hurting them instead.
Now, having said that, I want to say something that I had on my mind the entire time I was going through her backstory: the adults in her life really failed her. I was in tears with rage when I was shown the pastor and figured out what he had done.
And her adoptive mother’s reaction made me even angrier:

Another scene that got me thinking was this one:
It really reminded me of another scene from Another Story:
It’s just a bit interesting how similar these scenes are to me. I’m not sure what others got from it, but it’s just what I was reminded of.

Another thing I’m still sort of analyzing and figuring out is the ending. After seeing Rika start off the first RFA party, it ends with a “good ending” screen.
I have some theories but am still not sure how to put them into words. Maybe that the start of the RFA was her good ending or maybe that if she had really be freed from her past... I have more but I have to really think on it more.
Others might have better theories than me, which I would love to hear! I love talking about different theories!

I know that there are people that completely hate Rika, which is understandable, but I honestly don’t think the things that happened to her should’ve happened to anyone.
But like I said before, I also don’t think that justifies what she’s done to the rest of the RFA or Saeran.
I’ve said this before (as if anyone remembers), but Rika is such a complex character. I still get confused about how I feel about her.
But one thing I can say is that I’m actually really glad Cheritz has released this back story for us. Even if a person completely hates Rika, I think that for them to try going through her back story with an open mind is still something they should open to.
I think this DLC let’s us into the thought process behind Rika’s actions and helps us to understand her just a bit better.
It’s really an interesting story and one that I find important to at least think about. I intend to reread through the episodes again (but after I finish V’s after ending).
Also, the free talks from the voice actors are really interesting as well. I’ve only gotten through a couple of them, but intend on going through more soon.

So, that’s all I have for now. I think this is my first really long blog post... weird, but new is good (most of the time).
If anyone has theories or their own reactions to the story, feel free to comment! But also remember to be respectful to others’ opinions and try to keep an open mind please!
If you disagree with anything I’ve said, you can let me know, but just again, please be respectful in the way you say it :relaxed: :+1: 🏻

If anyone has actually read through my whole post:
Holy cow, thank you for your time and patience!
Now, I’m off to finish V’s after ending. I’ve only read one episode and am already pretty emotional about that as well.
I’m an emotional person 🥺
Thank you guys and see ya  🏻 :blue_heart:
