The Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) has selected 38 Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) high school students for the 2022 All-Virginia Band, Chorus and Orchestra. Additionally, 14 students have been selected as alternates for the choir .

“Selection for an all-Virginia ensemble represents the highest honor the Virginia Music Educators Association can bestow upon a student and is an extraordinarily rare achievement,” said PWCS Arts Supervisor Dr. Ed Stephenson. “It is a testament to the dedication of our music teachers, the hard work and discipline of our students, and the unwavering support of our parents.”

With this honor, the students recently took part in a two-and-a-half-day series of rehearsals, featuring a guest conductor, and performed in a full band performance.
