BottleRock 2022 announces line-up including Metallica, Spoon, Greensky Bluegrass and more

Metallica are a well-known heavy metal band from Los Angeles who have been producing music for 40 years now. The group consists of vocalist James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo. Some of their popular tracks include “Nothing Else Matters”, “Enter Sandman”, “Master Of Puppets”, “Wherever I May Roam” and “Fade To Black”.

Spoon is an American rock band from Austin, Texas. The band is made up of guitarist Britt Daniel, drummer Jim Eno and bassist Rob Pope. Popular album releases from them include Soft Effects (1997), Kill The Moonlight (2002), Transference (2010) and Digging the scars (2021). This year alone they released their tenth studio album, Lucifer on the couch.

Greensky Bluegrass is a five-piece bluegrass rock band from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Band members include vocalist and mandolinist Paul Hoffman, guitarist Dave Bruzza, Dobro player Anders Beck, double bassist Mike Devol and banjo player Michael Bont. Some of their albums include If Sorrows Swim (2014), All For Money (2019), Five Interstates (2008) and Less Than Supper (2004). They also released three albums last year. Sessions in leap years: volume 1, Sessions in leap years: volume two, Sessions in leap years: volume three and The Sessions of the Leap Year: Volume Four. All of the albums were part of eight recorded sessions the band had done in the middle of Covid.

Recently the BottleRock music festival has just announced its 2022 lineup made up of many talented artists such as Metallica, Spoon, Greensky Bluegrass, 21 Pilots, Pink, Greta Van Fleet, Vance Joy, Silversun Pickups, Aly & AJ, Tessa Violet, Blu DeTiger, Hot Milk, and more! The festival will take place May 27-29 in Napa, California.

Other highlights of the festival include the wide selections of alcohol and food. There is also a cooking scene where cooking tutorials are performed in front of the audience.

BottleRock is a Napa Valley based music festival. It was originally founded in 2013 by entrepreneurs Dave Graham, Justin Dragoo and Jason Scoggins. Some of the bands that were part of the original lineup include Cake, Jane’s Addiction, Kings of Leon, The Black Crowes, The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, The Shins, and Train.

Here is what Graham had to say about the festival,

“We’re happy to bring the first taste of summer back to music fans here in Napa Valley. As fans expect, our 2022 lineup has something for everyone, with a wide variety of genres that feature legendary artists along with some of the world’s most exciting new and emerging artists.

Tickets for the event will go on sale Tuesday, Jan.11 at 10:00 a.m. PT.
