Curve Royalty Systems, a London-based music technology company, is expanding into the United States with a new office in Los Angeles, which will serve as the base for its client list.
Curve Royalty Systems was launched in 2019 by former ADA / Warner, Cooking Vinyl, and Essential Music executives, Richard Leach, Ray Bush, and Tom Allen.
The company has also appointed Sam Spainhower, a specialist in music royalties, to oversee its operations in the United States.
Spainhower will report to Richard Leach, Managing Director of Curve Royalty Systems.
Spainhower joins the company from NKSFB, where he has worked with performing rights organizations, record labels and publishers.
The announcement comes after Curve expanded its client list to New York, Nashville and Los Angeles.
The company says its royalty platform was “built to meet the scale and demands of music companies in the digital age and now processes billions of lines of data for its customers.”
