Destroyer 666 keep doing what they’re best at: kicking ass and pounding heavy metal that smacks right in the face. No compromise, no selling, no bullshit.

Destructive 666 don’t do whiny nostalgia, but just stay true to their old-school roots, which dive straight into the golden age of metal while still allowing themselves to sound fresh and stay relevant. The band originally started as a solo project of thirst for bestial war KK guitarist in Australia in 1994. From his first album “Unchain the Wolves” (1997), he quickly rose to international fame. The second, even stronger feature, ‘Phoenix Rising’ (2000), forced Australians to move to Europe to meet the growing demand for touring and festivals. After a series of line-up changes, the third feature “Cold Steel… For an Iron Age” (2002) cemented the band’s excellent reputation. After an interruption caused among other things by disenchantment with the company, Destructive 666 returned with ‘Defiance’ in 2009 and followed that success up with the rough and gritty ‘Wildfire’ (2016) seven years later, which saw them touring and performing regularly at all relevant metal festivals around the world. The Australians have filled the gap between the latest albums with the hard-hitting EP, “Call of the Wild” (2018) which comes with a distinct taste of an unrepentant classic flavor.

The Outlaws Below deliver another lesson in brutal and relentless aggression with issue #6 (66) complete. “Never Surrender” is a furious onslaught of dark thrash, chainsaw riffs and warrior drums, offering no retaliatory moments as it rages on for 40 unyielding minutes.
