On Wednesday, October 13, the McAninch Arts Center in Glen Ellyn will host a musical evening featuring a wide range of works from the student ensembles of the College of DuPage.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Belushi Performance Hall on the University Campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.
The student concert features the COD Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Phillip Bauman; Chamber Singers, conducted by Lee Kesselman; Concert choir, conducted by Lee Kesselman; Percussion ensemble, conducted by Ben Wahlund; and Jazz / Pop Combos, directed by Matt Shevitz.

The College of DuPage Music Program offers the first two years of a Bachelor of Music program, including theory and aural training courses, as well as a sequence of four piano lessons designed for non-pianists. The program offers associate degrees in music and musical affairs and a certificate in audio production, as well as private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, percussion, and all group and orchestral instruments. Performing groups are open to all students, regardless of their major, and include Concert Choir, Jazz Choir, Chamber Singers, Community Jazz Ensemble, DuPage Chorale, DuPage Community Band, Chamber Orchestra, Small Group Jazz, Percussion Ensemble, and Guitar Together.
