Summer concert news:

The Los Alamos 2021 Summer Concert Series presented by Toyota of Santa Fe, features the second live concert of the 2021 season featuring folk rock / Americana sensation Dusty Low from El Paso, TX.

Dusty Low, the Sullivan brothers’ third collaboration, brought their folk-rock / Americana roots to life. The Sullivans have been sharing their original music nationally and internationally since 2007.

Jesse Sullivan leads the group on vocals and guitar. Danny Sullivan sings back-ups and keeps the beat on the drums. Sam Sullivan adds trumpet and harmonica licks and contributes vocals, completing the three-part harmony of Sullivan Bros.

In 2016, the boys were joined by longtime friend Adam Trzyna on bass, guitar and vocals. Dusty Low is working on their fourth studio album, which they plan to release early next year. For more information about the group, visit www.DustyLow.com.

This second in-person Overlook Park concert will take place on Friday July 9 and will be the last concert in the series to be held in White Rock.

“Concert attendees should bring their flashlights, chairs, blankets, snacks and food to the concert as there will be no sales at this concert,” said the spokesperson for Sancre Productions, Monica Griego. “The 2021 Summer Concerts return to Ashley Pond Park on July 16 with the Igor & The Red Elvises concert sponsored by Enterprise Bank and Trust and featuring DK & The Affordables as the opening band.”

Ashley Pond Park concerts will also feature restored vending machines to the public, including the NM Craft Beverage Garden in Santa Fe Spirits, exciting opening bands, musical performances for young people, and displays of all new cars, trucks and 2021 Toyota Santa Fe SUV.

This Friday’s concert is sponsored by Los Alamos MainStreet to celebrate ScienceFest 2021. Los Alamos ScienceFest 2021: Driven by Science will take place July 6-11 and be held in a hybrid fashion. Organizers, sponsors and partners have produced Home Discovery Boxes with STEAM activities instead of the traditional Discovery Day, which will not take place this year. For this pilot program, 500 boxes are available for three different age groups: preschool, 5-12 years and teens / adults. Discovery Boxes are available for booking on the ScienceFest website on a first-come-first basis and can be picked up at the Small Business Center behind the Los Alamos Post Office at 190 Central Park Square, Tuesday July 6 through Friday 9 July, during ScienceFest week.
