Mount Gambier will see an increased focus on live music over the coming months with the rollout of a local music industry development initiative called Live and Local.
The first of its kind for regional South Australia, Live and Local is a proven model that aims to support the growth of live music on-site by providing unique performance opportunities and professional development activity for local music communities. live.
The Town of Mount Gambier will partner with the Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS to implement the program which has been assisted by the Australian government through the Australian Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body.
Further support for the project was made possible by the Innovation and Skills Department through the Music Development Office.
