Ramona Forsström promoted to Managing Director of Warner Music Finland

Ramona Forsström has been promoted to Managing Director of Warner Music Finland.

She will continue to report to Niko Nordström, Managing Director, Warner Music Finland & EVP, Warner Music Nordic, a position he has held since September 2020.

Forsström joined Warner Music Finland in 2008, and in her new role she will lead the marketing campaigns for local and international artists. She will also take on a broader leadership role within the company.

Throughout her time at Warner Music Finland, she worked on marketing campaigns for regional artists Antti Tuisku, Arttu Wiskari, BEHM, Ellinoora, Kaija Koo and SANNI, as well as for international artists Ava Max, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran and Michael. Bublé.

Forsström started his career in the music industry in 1997 as Product Manager for EMI Finland, then moved on to Head of Promotions.

In 2006, she joined Live Nation Finland as Head of Promotions.

In 2008, she joined Warner Music Finland as Head of International Promotions, before moving to Marketing and assuming the role of Head of International Marketing.

From there, Forsström became Director of International Marketing and then Director of Marketing for the International and Local List.

Forsström has won the Record Company’s Promotion Person of the Year eight times at the Radio Gala Awards between 2009 and 2017. She also won the Promotion / Marketing Person of the Year at the Music & Media Industry gala. Awards in 2012.
