Sarah Scott was promoted to Managing Partner of LaPolt Law, PC, a law firm specializing in intellectual property and entertainment law.
Scott, previously Senior Vice President of Commercial and Legal Affairs for Universal Music Group Canada, joined LaPolt Law in 2017.
The firm, founded by Dina LaPolt in 2001, currently has 10 full-time lawyers on staff.
Sarah Scott will continue to oversee the lawyers and the firm’s workflow.
She is described by the company as a “driving force behind long-term brand partnerships and sales of multi-million dollar music assets.”
LaPolt Law is a wholly founded, owned and operated entertainment law firm.
The company’s artist roster includes Cardi B, Offset, deadmau5, 21 Savage; jxdn (Jaden Hossler) and Iann Dior, rock figures Steven Tyler and Mick Fleetwood, and a number of influencers and women entrepreneurs.
