‘The Roadie’ #1 mixes hell, nostalgia and redemption in September – AIPT

Dark Horse Comics has announced a new horror-action series The Roadie. Written by Tim Seeley with art by Fran Galan, the series promises to bring horror around nostalgia, heavy metal music, hell and redemption. The first issue comes out on September 28, 2022.

“I wanted to tell the story of the ‘unsung hero’ of the Satanic Panic era of the 80s…”, says Tim Seeley, “the roadies who supported all these metal bands, not only by tuning their guitars, but by chasing the horrible demons they accidentally summoned with backwards lyrics and screaming riffs Joe D. is the seventh son of a seventh son, and while he once stood next to greatness, he now wallows in the dark…until he was called back to a past he thought he had left far behind. The Roadie is part Hack/Slashpart The comebackand wholeheartedly, with Fran Galan making absolutely rock art.
