Ancient SKID RANK singer Sebastian Bach join the canadian rockers KILLER DWARFS on stage last night (Friday, October 14) at Rockstar Bar in Las Vegas, Nevada to perform the song “Big mental breakdown”. A video of her appearance can be seen below (courtesy Izzy Presley).
KILLER DWARFS formed in 1981 and quickly achieved international success, first in Canada with the band’s self-titled debut album in 1983. Breakthrough in the United States came when San Antonio-based radio personality Joe Anthony began touring their album regularly, much to the delight of hard-rocking Texans. This planted the seeds of what would result in KILLER DWARFS a lot of attention south of the Canadian border. A worldwide recording contract with Epic Records finally landed them a first place for IRON MAIDENsold out tour of Britain and sharing stages with artists such as DIO and MICHAEL SCHENKER across North America. The group quickly received a nomination for the prestigious Canadian award Juno Awards as “Heavy Metal Album of the Year”.
KILLER DWARFS ended in 1995, except for a reunion tour in 2001. In 2002, the KILLER DWARFS released a live album titled “Scribes’ Meeting: Live 2001” before separating again. The group reformed once again in 2013 for the release of “Start @ One” album with the lineup of Dwarf Russel, Dwarf Darrell, Gerry dwarf and new bassist Johnny “Dwarf” Fenton.
In 2018 KILLER DWARFS signed a recording contract with David Ellefsonit is EMP label group. A live record, “Live No Guff!”, was released in April of the same year.
